A tough day on the water
Well, my first post was a fishless day. If fished last Sunday , the day before the big storm blew into town. The wind ws whipping, blowing the indicator every where, and making casting difficult. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Anyway, I've heard that sometimes when the storm is blowing in the fishing can be tough on the Truckee. I did include a picture of a healthy rainbow I landed on the #16 bead-head Prince nymph that Brian Johnson(Reno Trout Envy) advocates. Thanks, Brian! This nymph is so good it even caught the real thing! Sorry for the poor photo quality. I did see a river otter and he stopped for a pic.
